Description:
Before administration, add 1ml of sterile water for injection to the rhGH vial of Lyophilized powder along the wall slowly. Shake it gently to fully dissolve the powder to get clarified solution. DO not shake violently.Yellowish or white loose powder, when dissolved with water for injection, the reconstituted solution should be clear, transparent and has no insoluble substance visible to naked eyes.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Before administration, add 1ml of sterile water for injection to the rhGH vial of Lyophilized powder along the wall slowly. Shake it gently to fully dissolve the powder to get clarified solution. DO NOT shake violently.
For anti-aging, general health & healing, fat mobilization, a dose of 2-3 IU's per day will be sufficient for the majority. A dose of 1.5 to 2.0 IU's is considered to be a full replacement dose for those in their middle-age and beyond.
For gaining lean muscle and substantially improving body composition, a dose of 4-8 IUs per day will be necessary. Most people will respond very well at a dose of 4-5 IU's per day. The recommended dosage for injection is 0.1-0.15IU/kg/day, inject before sleeping daily at the same time and the injection site should be changes frequently to prevent lipoatrophy at the site, or follow the physician’s advice.
Usual Adult Dose for Short Bowel Syndrome:
Approximately 0.1 mg/kg subcutaneously once a day
Maximum dose: 8 mg once a day
Duration of therapy: 4 weeks
Comments:
-Administration for more than 4 weeks has not been adequately studied.
-Use in conjunction with optimal management of Short Bowel Syndrome (SBS).
-Optimal management of SBS may include dietary adjustments, enteral feedings, parenteral nutrition, fluid, and micronutrient supplements, as needed.
-Specialized nutritional support may consist of a high carbohydrate, low-fat diet, adjusted for patient requirements and preferences.
-Nutritional supplements may be added at the discretion of the treating physician.
-Changes to concomitant medications should be avoided.
